Brave New World
These notes are old and were written while reading — they don’t necessarily reflect my current views.
Is this world actually wrong? Why do we think so and do we have reason for that? You are free and happy, both the things that e.g. in the grand-inquisitor had to be weight. What else could you strive for? Truth? Phenomolocially all that is true? How are chemicals that come into our body now with our food (and thereby alter our brain activity) any other than the ones in Huxley’s world? They aren’t.
